# Throwback Thursday:

2nd Wedding gown made in the 90's. First was made the year I finished HS in 1987.

This is one of the Bridesmaid from the 1st wedding I did. There were several of these BM dresses in dusty rose and this rasberry or fuschia color.

This is one of two Cotillion gowns that I made in the late 80's.

This wine-colored jacket and skirt was made for a fashion show in the late 90's.

Juanita B5496 looks like a great idea for skirts! Can't wait to see what you decide.

@ Shawn, Put it aside and let it rest. It will come to you on what to do. My mom would always say that to me when she would see that I was frustrated with my project...it works.

My WIP Wednesday is two skirts :D  I have one that I have to attach the waistband to (for the third - and hopefully final - time) and another that I have to figure out how to take in.  Both still need to be hemmed too.

I can't figure out how to fix my 'too big' skirt though.  I added to the side seams because the pattern measurements said I would need it, but now, it's about 2" too big around the waist :(  it's chiffon so I really don't want to pick out all those tiny stitches.  Not too happy with the hemline either.  it was supposed to be asymmetrical, but rather then looking modern and dramatic, I think it looks more like I did a bad hem job.. *sigh*

Very nice dress Alethia!!! I love the fabric...My W.I.P. IT WEDNESDAY will be my skirts. Once they are done. I have some toppers for them that I'd like to work on. Since the skirts are close fitting, I was thinking of a few lighter cover-ups/jacket type things. Or maybe a semi-fitted tunic or two. I found 5 yards of white lawn in my stash...yay!!! I do have B5496 in mind. Keep on sewing and happy sewing everyone...This is fun!!!

Here's the dress that I "Made New" on Monday. It's a Rebecca Taylor Vogue pattern V1152, not sure if it's still available. But, the only thing I did here was to remove the sleeves. And, after wearing it yesterday, I realize I am gonna need to take it in just a little around the bust area.

My notebook is acting crazy right now, but I'm gonna share the refashion that I made new on Monday. I made a Rebecca Taylor dress a couple of years back, I wore it once.

I'll share it probably tomorrow....
