A MUCH NEED RESOLUTION

I'm just about sure that all of us have made a resolution to cut back on fabric purchases this year.  My latest fabric shopping misadventure has caused me to really re-evaluate my fabric shopping habit.  I became so excited at the extremely low prices that I just lost my $@#$%^^ mind.  However, I promised to post some photos of this.  I attempted to do this earlier this week but had a difficult time getting the photos to post.  So here I go again!

This is what the entire purchase looked like.  Each piece is 60" x 3yds.  Oink, oink lol.

I love the way that they put labels on each piece indicating purchase price, yardage and type of fabric.  

This Calvin Klein piece is my favorite one of all.  It is so fine, I can't wait to make something for the summer.  I would call it a very fine piece of handkerchief weight linen.

 

I wasn't sure what pongee was but at $1p/yd how bad could it be.  Turned out to be nice enough for lightweight tops or dresses and utilitarian enough to use as lining.  So far so good.

The colors of the cuts on the third row in the first photo are very close to the pongee however, these knits are the kind used for active wear like yoga pants, and other exercise gear.  Think I'll make a few items for me and my Zumba friends......yea!

The prints are very nice weights for tops, dresses etc.  These are on the first row of the first pic.

My plan was to go over everything but I'm beginning to experience trouble posting the photos.  So before I loose every thing, I'll call it a day.  Later I'll post pics of my nicely fitted jackets.

Lillie, I'm glad you were able to get these posted! You have quite a stash...can't wait to see the end results!

And, yes, I need a resolution too! I once said that I would not buy anymore fabric until I got my stash down,which compared tomany isn't much at all. However, over the last couple of weeks I have been on a fabric buying binge...gotta stop....yeah right...I love the stuff,lol!! I was in the fabric store last night with my husband looking for fabric for him a tie and vest, and I had to look for me ( didn't buy), but I told him that I could OD on fabric, he just shook his head, lol!!!
